Alex Cavanaugh was one of the first bloggers I met. He writes his blog, reads hundreds of blogs and comments on them, is a published sci-fi author, facilitates a monthly writer's support group, and is generally one of the nicest guys in the blogsphere that you'll ever meet. He is one of the most encouraging people I've ever met and every writer should get to know him. In spite of his success, he is still a bit of a mystery, and you'll have to interact with him to get to know him (if you Google him you still won't be sure what he looks like).
