Have you ever heard the saying "what gets measured gets done"? I don't know where that came from but I believe it to be true. I started using an app a while back for measuring my walking. Walking has not always been my favorite thing to do, but I find that having something to measure and record and post it helps me keep motivated (and somewhat accountable) to continue. I just got a summary for May and I walked 33 miles! Considering that I would generally rather read or watch tv and crochet, this is quite an accomplishment! Now if I could find a way to get motivated on housework . . .
