I am thankful for my daughter's Girl Scout troop. She's been in it since second grade, when a group of moms decided they wanted their girls to be in a troop. One of my friends (who has since become one of my best friends) agreed to lead the troop (I agreed to be treasurer) and here we are in our 7th year. Not only has it been great for my daughter, it has been very good for me to watch these little girls grow up into young ladies. I was never a Girl Scout myself, it just didn't fall into my path - but I am thankful for it now.
