Jerusalem . . . one of my favorite things

I had a conversation recently concerning a trip to Israel we took back in 2007. I was asked the question - "Where was your favorite place?". We traveled all over the country so I had to think for a few minutes. I decided on Jerusalem. I chose Jerusalem because it gave me the greatest sense of the uniqueness of the area, and a true taste of ancient days. Walking through the Old City, I could sense the heritage and history of the the past. Standing at the Wailing Wall, it felt real and precious. If I could only go back to one place I have been in my life - it would be Jerusalem.
