Grand Canyon . . . one of my favorite things

Our first family "adventure" (after going to Disney World) was a trip to the Grand Canyon. We flew out on an evening flight, landed in Las Vegas and then headed out the next day for the Grand Canyon. There are no words to adequately describe both the place and the experience. The Grand Canyon is somewhere that I felt both small and large at the same time. I felt small in comparison to the majesty and beauty of the place, but large in that I felt part of a larger plan, the creation of the world.

I hope I never forget the impact of standing at the edge looking over into something truly so very "grand".
