January and there has been NO SNOW. The forecast is for 70 this weekend. The problem with this is that now I shall want Spring weather and when or IF we get snow I probably won't appreciate it. I NEED snow to show up in December to start winter. NOT JANUARY OR FEBRUARY. I blame my husband. If he had bought those sleds for the kids that were on sale at Costco last November, then we would have had SNOW by now.
My thoughts on life as a writer, wife, mother, child, sibling, aunt, reader, and woman.

ReplyDelete1970's: Hey, didja you hear? It's gonna snow!!! That's fantastic!!!
2010's (or whatEVER we call this decade): Hey, didja hear? It's gonna snow. Isn't THAT frikkin' fantastic??? Now, I'm gonna have to shovel that crap.
Yep, it could stay dry as a bone until spring. I'd be pretty good with that.
I had the snowiest Christmas I've experienced in a while when I was in Ohio. I actually saw a old style wooden sled with metal runners being used at the old sledding hill of my youth!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that it snows before 15 January for you. :-D
ReplyDeleteDown in the southern hemisphere I'm having a slightly different problem ... Sticking to my chair and trying not to melt all over my desk as I endure super hot temperatures!
