Many people today will be posting a 9/11 memory. I too have many memories of that day. I remember sitting on the couch in shock, disbelief, and horrified at the sight unfolding before me on my television. I remember trying to get in touch with my parents who were traveling and the relief I felt when I finally talked to them. That day should never be forgotten.
But I choose, in addition to remembering the tragedy of that day, to think on good things. Here are a few pictures of some of the important people in my life who bring me joy.
I encourage you, in the midst of your remembering today, to take time to also think on the joys in your life.
