Last weekend my husband took me out on a real date (we tend to grab a bite to eat and then go get our grocery shopping done). We went to see a delightful movie called Moonrise Kingdom. Though the main characters are children, it is not a kid movie. It is quirky, warm, deep, symbolic, fun, and very well acted with Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, and Edward Norton. The music is an integral part of the movie itself (in my opinion) yet does not overpower. The plot makes you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside - but from a different place than romance or happy endings stories. I don't know how to explain it - but I'd say go see it! Oh, and then we went to dinner afterwards at Fuddruckers - delicious!
