yen·ta noun \ˈyen-tə\: one that meddles; also: blabbermouth, gossip
This post makes me think back to my second post of this challenge when I did B for Babble. A Yenta often babbles, the need to "tell" can mean a constant stream of talk and gossip comes out of it. On the other hand, a Babbler will often gossip without meaning to, but that much "talk" is bound to have some gossip in it.
I don't want to be a Yenta, one who gossips or is a blabbermouth. But as much as I try to guard against that, I need to remember not to listen to it either.Labels: A to Z Blogging Challenge, babble, yenta
