Mothers want to be ubiquitous. Sometimes our children think we are ubiquitous. I want to be ubiquitous. Sometimes because of cell phones, the internet, and all the modern technology, I feel like I am ubiquitous. But, not being God, I am not. That's probably a good thing in the grand scheme of life.
I think maybe that's why I like to read fiction and to write stories. As both a reader and a writer, I DO get to be ubiquitous. I can be everywhere at once.
