I've been working this week on poetry. I haven't written poetry since junior high, but in an attempt to stretch my mind, I decided to give it a try.
What are you doing to stretch your mind these days? Do you find yourself doing the same things in the same ways? It has been declared that trying something new is good for our brains, that it helps develop new patterns. I'm all for that idea.
So, here's your challenge. Take something that you do all the time and find a way to experience it in a new way. Do you play games? Pick up a new one. Do you read mystery books? Try a fantasy. Do you go to the same park to run? Go to a different one and learn a new path. You can do it - try something new!
