My oldest turned 17 on Saturday. I miss the days when he believed everything I said just because I was his mother.
He's smarter than I am. A lot. I know it, HE knows it.
All I can offer him now is love, actually that's all I could ever offer him. It's just the methods of showing it have changed over the years. The wonder of motherhood never ends.
