Gratitude Attitude

Yesterday I was challenged at church to try 40 days of thankfulness. Not the syrupy, "I'm just thankful for life, etc.", but truly looking at the blessings around me and focusing on them. My pastor made the statement that if you aren't thankful, you can't connect to God's resources because you are blind to them. Then you start living in the deficit (I don't have, etc.). So I am going to join him in the experiment. 40 days of being aware of my blessings.

Day 1: Today I am thankful/grateful for people who have stepped in to help with my husband's back ailment. Be it in prayer, special oils, been there and understand your pain, etc. Thank you.
